Remove soap dish tile wall.
Using a rubber mallet tap upward on the bottom of the soap dish.
Remove as much of the caulk around the soap dish as possible with a grout removal tool.
Carefully tap the chisel with a mallet until it pops off the wall do the same with the second tile.
The dish should slide upward and come away from the tile wall.
Wearing gloves and goggles hold the remains of the soap dish in one hand.
Then use a razor blade scraper to cut the caulk behind the perimeter of the soap dish to more easily separate the soap dish from the wall.
Vinegar and dish detergent.
Remove the anchoring screws on the metal soap holder.
To keep the tile around the dish clean of epoxy create a perimeter just outside of your pencil outline with painter s tape.
Wipe the surfaces down with a non scratch sponge rinse thoroughly with water and then dry.
Select the spot where you want the soap dish and carefully remove the grout with a grout saw.
After the dish is fully secured you will remove this perimeter tape along with the tape holding the dish in place.
Hold the soap dish against the tile and lightly draw an outline in pencil.
Apply several drops of penetrating oil to the heads if the screws are difficult to remove.
The screws are near the side edges on most dishes.
Grout removal tool or an oscillating tool with a grout removal blade.
Once you have the grout removed take a masons chisel and place it against the tile you want to remove.
Combine equal amounts of vinegar and water into a spray bottle then add one.
Cut any caulk around the edges of the soap dish with a utility knife.
You will need a few tools.
